A Gettysburg Ghost Walk was something I had never done. I have been to Gettysburg many times visiting the battlefield, but we had never looked into the different ghost tours. Our grandson thought it would be fun to go on one of the ghost tours, so we went.
We found a tour which claimed to be family friendly, and it did not seem as if they would scare kids. The tour company was Ghost Walk Gettysburg.
The tour guide was great. He paid a lot of attention to out grandson and watched not to scare him. He also showed us all printed material and let us decide what to show our grandson.
The tour we selected did not go on to the battlefield but instead stayed in the old streets of Gettysburg. Walking the streets and hearing the stories of the events which took place there really help you to understand what the people of Gettysburg went through.
As you journey through the town and the past things seem to grow darker and you feel there just could be a few ghosts around here,
The Gettysburg Battlefield is a must see, but a Gettysburg Ghost Walk is well worth your time and money. Plus you just never know who you could meet along the way.
