J J’s Restaurant and Sports Bar in Abingdon Virgina is a really nice place to eat. Most of the time when we travel to Abingdon we eat at the Tavern or the Peppermill. Both of these places are great places to eat. However, on our last trip we were just passing through on our wat home from South Carolina.  We wanted to find a place with good food and faster service. After reading several reviews we decided to try J J’s. The Restaurant is located at 115 Charwood Drive in Abingdon Virgina.

Like most sports bars J J’s Restaurant has the walls all covered with sports memorabilia and TV’s.  The seating is high tops booths or bar. The people are nice and welcoming, and the food is great. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Nachos.  Which had Bar B Q, Beans, Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Onions, Salsa and Sour Cream covering the Pork and Chips. I had to try them, and they were great.

I had the Quatar Pound Burger. It is a smaller version of their Best Burger.  It has lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, and Cheese.  The Burger also comes with their house chips. You may find a burger as good as this one but not one any better than this. J J’s Restaurant really has this nailed down.
