After a long time of staying home, we decided to see Myrtle Beach in 2020.  With it being our 40th anniversary, we decided to GO.  The place we went to was where we went 40 years ago, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

We were surprised how few people were on the beach.  Whereas in years past people were so numerous that it was hard to walk between the umbrellas.  I know the first of November is far different from summer but we had temperatures in the high seventy’s.  it was a great time to sit on the beach and enjoy the sun.

We really enjoyed have the beach almost to our selves.  Myrtle Beach in 2020 gave us time to sit back in the sun and catch up on our reading.

Eating at some of the great restaurants was also much easier than the other times that we have been here.  We called to make reservations but I don’t think we needed to other than for seating location.  You can see a couple below. I will be posting more on the restaurants.  We went to some great places at Murrell’s Inlet and at Calabash.

We could not believe how nice everything was at Myrtle Beach  in 2020.  When first making our plans we thought that we would have to eat in most nights, but you can see this was not the case.
